eHealth Services Group has worked with companies such as Southern Regional Health System, AT&T, Morehouse School of Medicine - National Center for Primary Care, and the Georgia Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center (GA-HITREC).

Through its work with GA-HITREC, eHealth Services Group reached out to thousands of providers each year, educating them on the importance of adopting health information technology to assist with improving patient health outcomes and provider practice workflows.

In 2013, and eHealth Services Group was engaged to provide the staffing needed to support the mission and activities of Georgia Health Information Network (GaHIN). GaHIN is Georgia's statewide health information exchange and is dedicated to creating a healthier Georgia by facilitating the use and secure exchange of electronic health information so providers have the information they need at the point of care. The result is improved quality of care, better health outcomes and reductions in cost.

Company History

eHealth Services Group was founded by Dr. Denise Hines, who continues to serve in a consultative role with the company. Dr. Hines possesses over 23 years of extensive and varied experience in different healthcare organizations such as health systems, physician offices, home health, technology vendors, consulting, state government and revenue management.

Her passion for the widespread integration of technology and healthcare is one reason she is nationally recognized for building service-oriented organizations with proven results. In 2019, she assumed the position of Chief Americas Officer for HIMSS. She is also an adjunct professor at Emory University and the University of Phoenix.

Dr. Hines has been involved in health IT initiatives that are defining the quality of care in Georgia, including:
  • Participated on Georgia’s HIE Strategic and Operational Plan writing team
  • Served as the co-chair of the HIE Governance Committee.
  • Launched Georgia’s first comprehensive health information transparency and health information exchange website
  • Served as the first Executive Director for the GA HITT Advisory Board
  • Created Georgia’s two-, five-, and 10-year health information technology strategic plans
  • Created and implemented the Georgia Health Information Exchange Grants Awards Program that awarded $1,800,000 in grants in the first and second years
